About Us
Hamilton was founded in 1939 by Harry Hamilton. The company’s success began with Harry’s work ethic, which was forged by his hard work and appreciation for those who worked hard with him in the field and in the office.
Our Philosophy
We bring people together with various skills and place them in situations that allow them to enjoy what they do, benefit from being part of a team, and get the support they need to excel. The Hamilton work ethic shapes our employees to enjoy and respect those they work with, thrive in what they do, and love being part of something bigger than themselves.
The Reward of Work |
We are builders. These words identify who we are in every sense of the word. As more and more construction companies get away from self-performing their work, Hamilton maintains being a hands-on builder, with the recognition that our work is significant.
No matter the role (welder, project manager, or anything else), our employees take pride in what they do and understand the reward of work. The reward of work is all about working hard and, at the end of the day, looking back on your work and seeing the significance of your accomplishments. Each day, our employees do their part to build critical infrastructure for our nation and their good work will stand the test of time. |
Our employees are the secret to our success. As we continue to look for the next generation of bridge builders, we seek employees from all walks of life and, through experience and training, provide them the opportunity to grow with grit and integrity.
Hamilton has a long history of being committed to a diverse workforce. Our commitment to our employees is simple: treat people with respect, be fair and honest, create a level playing field, provide a safe work site, and offer a supportive environment. Our effort to diversify our employee workforce and project partners is reflected in our project bidding, recruitment, apprenticeship, and retention strategies. |
