Professionals

Project Manager
Picture
Hamilton project managers manage our projects on-site, plan the project schedule, and ensure safe, quality work is performed. The Hamilton project manager has financial authority for the project, tracks production cost changes, and negotiates change orders.

​Hamilton’s project engineers schedule short-term work activities, work with subcontractors daily, provide on-site assistance to the superintendent, work with surveyors to calculate and control the alignment and grade of the new structures, and fill in for the project manager when required.
superintendent
Picture
​Hamilton’s superintendents work in the field, planning daily work activities and assigning tasks and work items directly. They are the primary advisors to the foreman and project manager and work closely with the project engineers on the technical aspects. They are the primary link between the craftspeople performing the work and the field office.

Hamilton’s safety managers are dedicated to ensuring all employees return home each day safe and uninjured. They ensure all safety requirements are met and assist project managers and project engineers in planning critical work activities.
Estimator

​Hamilton estimators create cost estimates, assemble and submit bids, develop the basis and approach for constructing work, review plan sheets and specifications for our Design-Build and CMGC contracts, and perform constructability reviews.

​Hamilton yard supervisors plan, organize, and schedule the use of all Hamilton equipment and materials. They utilize a vast network of outside resources to procure what is needed for our job sites.

​Hamilton dispatchers orchestrate the movement of numerous trucks hauling materials and equipment to our job sites and yards across several states.
Administrators
Picture
These individuals are receptionists, payroll clerks, secretaries, file clerks, accountants, project manager assistants, go-for, job office managers, and so much more. The Hamilton project administration team works on-site at the jobs and off-site at Hamilton’s division and corporate headquarters.

Skilled Trades

Carpenter

Carpenters on Hamilton projects build forms, pour concrete, build frames, erect wooden structures, erect scaffolding, perform interior finish work, and build temporary bridges.

​After concrete placement, concrete masons on Hamilton projects mold, shape, grind, and finish concrete to create the result.
Heavy Equipment operator
Picture
​Hamilton heavy equipment operators hoist and place materials and supplies for the other trades to utilize on the job sites.
LABORER
Picture
​Hamilton laborers assist all of the other trades on-site. They lay pipe, sandblast, demolish structures, and help assemble cranes on-site. 
PILE BUCK
Picture
​Pile bucks on Hamilton jobs operate torches and lances, field weld, and drive pile to build temporary work bridges and permanent bridge foundations. They also assist in removing work bridges
MECHANIC
Picture
​Hamilton mechanics maintain our equipment in top condition to ensure reliability. The mobile field mechanics travel to our job sites across multiple states to keep our equipment running in top condition to ensure reliability. Our mechanics work on small gas and electric-powered tools, large diesel cranes, excavators, and forklifts.
Yard Welder

​Hamilton yard welders repair and splice piling and beams and fabricate various temporary steel bridge components.​
Yard Laborer
Picture
Hamilton Yard laborers load, sort, repair, and store materials and supplies in our company yards. They also receive, clean, and store reusable materials and supplies from completed jobs and assist in the shipment of materials to our job sites.

Apprentices

​Apprentices earn money while receiving on-the-job training and classroom instruction. Choose the trade and then enter an apprenticeship program for that trade. Through an accredited apprenticeship program, become a skilled tradesperson.​ ​
